Canvas Print Care Guide:
Canvas prints are for indoor use only. They must not be exposed to any moisture.
(Waterproof canvases are available - please enquire when ordering)

Your canvas prints, if treated correctly, will last you for many years.
Please read the points below to ensure the correct care is taken.

If you canvas does need dusting, use a dry polish cloth and gently dust. Do not use any sprays.

Avoid touching the surface of the prints with your hands as this may transfer oils,
which could affect the appearance of your prints.

Do not use a damp or a wet cloth to clean your print.

Canvas prints using Hexachrome UV inks are lightfast and therefore have added protection against fading.
However, you will reduce the life span of approx 75 years of your print if it is displayed in continuous,
strong sunlight (35 years).

If transporting your canvas prints, especially those on stretcher frames, use bubble-wrap or a similar protective covering, paying particular care with the corners as these will chip on impact.

Do not rub your prints too hard or continuously in the same area.

Avoid folding or creasing. If storing your prints, use a flat dry surface or roll them loosely into a protective tube.

Avoid displaying your prints in too humid or too hot an environment.
If your prints do get wet, gently dab with tissue or dry cloth and leave to dry. Avoid wiping.
